Yepp
The Yepp is design and build for a five year old boy that was born without arms.
The only steering-system that seemed suitable for him was the “turn–nod” system, which is the same system that has been used for the “Flevobike.”. The bike can be adjusted in several ways to suit the demands of it’s user. Firstly, the two shoulder–pads that are attached to the bike can be adjusted horizontally. Furthermore, the length of the bike can be modified as well. Therefore, the "Yepp” is very suitable for a growing child from the age 5 to 12.
The "Yepp” could not have been developed without the help of physician Erik Wannee, who is also part of the Board of the Dutch Recumbent Association.
